The genesis of the BOLLMER silhouette. A rejection of the unstructured trend of the era, this garment introduced a rigorously constructed shoulder and a dramatically suppressed waist. It was not merely clothing, but wearable architecture, demanding posture and projecting quiet authority.

Substance over superficiality. The transition to our proprietary S120 worsted wool marked a pivotal moment in our history. Chosen for its exceptional resilience, matte finish, and ability to hold a razor-sharp crease, it became the uncompromising foundation upon which our tailoring philosophy was built.

Record 03 — Influence

Roman Architecture & Form

The monumental scale and stark geometries of classical Roman architecture provided the initial blueprint for our aesthetic palette. The interplay of harsh sunlight on porous travertine influenced our preference for matte textures and a severe, uncompromising approach to volume and proportion.
